This handsome Georgian villa had suffered with modern “historic” paints from a well known and well regarded producer applied to the interior walls. The colours may well be “historic”, but the paints themselves are made using modern chemicals. Rather than disrupting the entire interior of the house, TLC applied lime roughcast and lime-wash to the exterior walls – maximising its ability to “breathe” externally.
